US Congress approves Israel aid increase 27 Jun 2008 The US Congress has approved a 170 million dollar increase in security assistance to Israel as part of its new 10-year, 30 billion dollar 'defense' aid commitment to the Jewish state. The money for Israel was part of a larger supplemental spending bill that included 162 billion dollars for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. America's pro-Israel lobby, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, welcomed the congressional action, saying it would increase US aid to Israel to 2.55 billion dollars in fiscal year 2009, up from 2.38 billion dollars this year.
Why do we need to send 30 billion dollars a year to strongest military power in that region, a nuclear power to boot.? If their economy was so strong and their Theocracy so solid, why would they NEED this money? Why would they also NEED and RELY on the 100 billion dollars a year the the Jewish diaspora sends to them? Their state and their economy have been carried for years by outsiders, mainly the United States. Just as South Africa had gold and other minerals to keep it afloat as long as it could without help, Israel needs to be connected to the world and integrate its economy to make it viable. Cuba is another example of this. They have integrated their economy with the rest of the world(never mind that we are the only country that still does not)and now have the lowest environmental impact of any country in the world. They also afford universal health care for their citizens. WOW. We really dont need to boycott Israel to bring down its Theocratic Fascist Genocidal government. All we have to do is stop our government from sending Israel its monthly WELFARE CHECK.

Email from someone that did not do well in History......
This came from one of those email chains that are propaganda put out by God knows who to make us believe God knows what, for any purpose the author wants.....The reply shows that we need to do more in our history classes in this country.
IKE'S MESSAGE General Eisenhower Warned Us It is a matter of history that when Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces, General Dwight Eisenhower, found the victims of the death camps he ordered all possible photographs to be taken, and for the German people from surrounding villages to be ushered through the camps and even made to bury the dead.
He did this because he said in words to this effect: 'Get it all on record now - get the films - get the witnesses - because somewhere down the road of history some bastard will get up and say that this never happened'
This week, the UK removed the Holocaust from its school curriculum because it 'offended' the Muslim population which claims it never occurred. This is a frightening portent of the fear that is gripping the world and how easily each country is giving into it. It is now more than 60 years after the Second World War in Europe ended. This e-mail is being sent as a memorial chain, in memory of the 6 million Jews, 20 million Russians, 10 million Christians and 1,900 Catholic priests Who were murdered, raped, burned, starved, beat, experimented on and humiliated while the German people looked the other way! Now, more than ever, with Iran, among others, claiming the Holocaust to be 'a myth,' it is imperative to make sure the world never forgets. This e-mail is intended to reach 400 million people! Be a link in the memorial chain and help distribute this around the world. How many years will it be before the attack on the World Trade Center 'NEVER HAPPENED' Because it offends some Muslim in the U.S. ?????? Americans? Russians?These are the main target populations for remembering the Holocaust.The idea was that no one stood up and challenged ideas that were obnoxious to any one people in that era in Germany. No one was sensitive to the needs of a minority view however few. The Government of Germany at the time used this minority view,
this minority of people as scapegoats for their own political agenda.Now, thanks to our not listening and lack of consideration, we have whole populations of people who have been ALLOWED to be oppressed and murdered by Israel who now turn their fury on us. And now we get to use this fury for our own narrow political and military objectives. I am sorry. I cannot remember the Holocaust as long as we allow thesame thing to happen and do nothing about it. Are you saying that we shouldn't recognize and remember real events from history unless they pass your political litmus test....do you really think that the Israelis are committing the same kind of acts on Palestinians as were perpetrated on them by the Germans...if so, you have a really skewed way of equating things and I feel really sorry for you and your clients....as for the current problems in Gaza and on the West Bank...last I heard, it was the Palestinians who were lobbing in the bombs on innocent Israelis...and as for Tibet and Darfur I am sure that you would be the first to be opposed to military intervention....so good luck with your inconsistent world view and I hope that you and others like you won't use the ballot box to get us all killed.

Oh someone Irish lecturing on holocaust. The Irish have killed each other for sport for 200 years. The highest infant mortality rate in the world is at Israeli military checkpoints. This is not a litmus test, this is what is happening and being perpetrated on the ground in Palestine. Last year just this statistic was a greater number of murdered civilians than ALL Israeli casualties civilian and military since before Israels preemptive war on Lebanon. NO GENOCIDE is acceptable in the world. This unfortunately is not Israeli foreign policy. Only the holocaust perpetrated on the Jews is supposed to be remembered and IS. We have celebrations almost yearly. This is a subtle way to whip up sympathy for a GENOCIDAL NUCLEAR power in the middle east. Yet we are set up to worry about IRAN and are led into a preemptive war with IRAQ. Drop all the propaganda and lets not forget any holocausts(including the 200,000 German prisoners of war that died in American run camps after WWII), and maybe we could actually do something about them, yes including military intervention in Darfur to stop GENOCIDE. Maybe the world would respect our country again if we lived up to our morals.

Ah the Democrats
It is wonderful that the Democrats are doing everything they can to loose the next election. No, I don't mean carrying on the primary process too long. No, I dont think Hillary should drop out(eventhough today is the last primary). This would be defeating the whole idea of having an election.
The Democrats have decided that the states of Michigan and Florida only have half people in them. Somehow their votes dont quite count. This was a compromise of historic proportions and they dont even get how that is. It happened in the year that the first African American has a real shot at the Presidency. These people are worth less than slaves and the Democrats have now re-institutionalized this notion.
At the time our constitution was written, our founding Fathers lacked the moral courage to live up to their words and let "ALL MEN" enjoy the fruits of Democracy. They bowed down to special interests in our young country and continued to allow SLAVERY to exist in our 'FREE' society. This of course eventually led to a polarization in our society based on economics(sound familiar). SLAVE states were allowed to count SLAVES as two thirds for the purpose of Congressional Representation. So SLAVES could not be free, could not vote, but could count toward Congressional representation for the States that held them in SLAVERY. This was the Great Compromise our Founding Fathers made with our Constitution.
Now the Democrats figured that in punishing the good people of Michigan and Florida for their choice of when to hold FREE elections would compromise. The Great Compromise; They will only be counted as half people. That is even less than the SLAVES counted for at the founding of our Democracy.
Democracy means one person one vote. Anything less treats us unequally.
